The Centre is about 25 miles North West of London

Enter Berkhamsted from the Tring Direction on the old A41. Just as you pass Northchurch there is a left turn to Ashridge Forrest and the Common. An infants school is located at this same turning. Turn left and travel for about 4 miles along this road until you descend the hill on a straight run towards the village of Dagnall. About 300 yards before Dagnall Village roundabout and on your left, is were we are situated a Large Green & Cream sign reads APPLEWOOD HOUSE. A Large Green Metal Barn is in the field Opposite the Centre. If you enter Dagnall by error just return along the same road and you should see our Centre.

The Centre is located 300 yards from the A4146 Leighton Buzzard Road
Ringshall Road will be marked as a B Road on a map B 4506

4 miles East - from Berkhamsted
4 Miles West - from Dunstable
6 miles North - from Hemel Hempstead
7 Miles South - from Leighton Buzzard

Drive from Swiss Cottage up and along the Finchley Road to the beginning of the M1 Motorway.

M1 - Travel along the M1 North to junction 8 which is clearly sign posted ( Junction 8 Hemel Hempstead). As you approach junction 8 there are four lanes, get into the nearside lane and leave the motorway. It is also marked A414 Hemel Hempstead

As you leave the M1 you have no choice but to follow a Dual Carriageway in the direction of Hemel Hempstead. This carriageway is about 3 miles long. You will pass over 5 roundabouts and eventually descend a hill towards a 6th roundabout. This large roundabout has 6 mini roundabouts encircling it. As you approach get into the offside lane and you will see ahead of you a very tall office block which is the Kodak building.

As you approach take the above roundabout take a 2 o’clock exit - sign posted Leighton Buzzard the A 4146. Follow that road which passes over a further three roundabouts and then meanders off into the country side for another 7 miles. The sign posts continually state Leighton Buzzard.

Eventually you will enter Dagnall Village sign posted. You will encounter a roundabout with a little Church on your left. Turn left which is sign posted Ringshall Road. Follow this road for about 400 yards and we are on the right. We have a green and cream sign with our name on it: Applewood House. Pull in and beep your horn.
